I am 34 years old. I have a gorgeous wife and a beautiful daughter. They are my heart and soul.

I love music. I have always found music to be a way to get away from my own thoughts and out of myself. For the longest time in my life, I listened to music and glorified things in the world that had nothing to do with who I really was. I struggled with drinking from the age of 14. Started doing cocaine at 17 and then started doing methamphetamine at 22. Like most addicts, it all stemmed from a traumatic childhood.

I first heard Christian Rap at an event that Seven from HOGMOB was at and I really held onto the message. I came in contact with a couple of local music ministries in Wichita, Kansas and my soul was on fire to get involved. IIYE Records, Hope 4 Da Hood, and Team BSR Music are all music groups here in town I’ve had the opportunity to develop relationships with.

I do this music today to see other hearts and lives transformed by the power of Jesus Christ. I want to see redemption and restoration in the lives of those who come from my same brokenness. I do this for fun because there is joy in this brotherhood and watching others come to know Jesus. Music is just part of getting a story or message out, the real ministry is not in the music, but in the walk.
